This Project explores the revitalization of a historic retail environment. With the removal of the current retail program, this once thriving building faces isolation and abandonment. This design proposes to introduce new programs that derive from the ideas of shophouses. These shophouse units implement ideas of a work/home enviroment (units where people have their retail space downstairs, and their living space upstairs).
